This section will focus on social issues that are related to the perpetuation of vigilantism and violent extremism in American life, such as gun control debates, ‘stand your ground’ and related laws, racism, police brutality, youth violence, school and mass shootings, and the negative influences of family and patriarchal dominance.

This website intends to provide a new way to approach and mediate pressing and crucial aspects of American life, identity and traditions surrounding the nation’s recourse to vigilantism and violent extremism. If left unchallenged and unchanged, such responses will increasingly continue to destabilise and efface the prospects and attitudes of future generations, condemning them to a life of exacerbating extremism and vigilantism.
